Our journey - real life
ABOUT US
This book is not written as a medical journal.  This story is not told with fabricated facts.

This is our story - real, raw, and emotional.  I know there is so much more to come, but we needed to tell our story to give hope and courage to those with high-functioning austism and their parents and caregivers.
BIO
In the year 2000, my daughter Vicky was diagnosed with PDD-NOS. This book is the story of of both her and my life  - together as Mother and Daughter.

We share this story for three reasons:

First, as a mom, I wanted to share my story of raising a girl on the spectrum.  I wanted to share the journey of my research, the things I tried, how I reacted, and how I perceived the world.

Second, my daughter shares her story - the same view, but from the other side of austism.  Her story may not be as lighthearted and anecdotal as my side, but it is true, raw emotion from the way she perceived the way she felt about the world and how it treated her back.

Finally, we both have found merit int he Gluten Free Casein Free Diet and how it may help your child with autism.  It is no cure-all, but certainly worth a try and we wanted to share our journey.
